    Privacy Policy

    Last updated: 19 October 2026

    Overview

CrateFlow is a local-first application. We take your privacy seriously. No personal data is collected, stored, or transmitted to our servers during normal use of the app.

CrateFlow operates as a subdomain of chart-hits.com. For the full privacy policy covering chart-hits.com, please visit: chart-hits.com/privacy

    Data we do NOT collect

    • Your music files or local audio content
    • Your set arrangements, track notes, or cue points
    • Your name, email address, or any account information
    • Usage analytics or behavioral tracking (in Free Beta)

    Local Storage

CrateFlow uses your browser's localStorage to save your current set between sessions. This data lives entirely on your device and is never sent to any server. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

    Third-Party APIs

The search feature uses the iTunes Search API (Apple Inc.) to fetch track metadata and 30-second previews. Your search queries are sent to Apple's servers. Please review Apple's Privacy Policy for details.

Local files you load are processed entirely in your browser using the Web Audio API. No file content is ever uploaded.

    Cookies

CrateFlow does not use tracking cookies. A functional localStorage key (crateflow-current-set) is used to persist your set data locally. This is not a cookie and is not accessible by other sites.

    Beta Disclaimer

CrateFlow is currently in Free Beta. Features, data handling, and this privacy policy may change as the product evolves. We will update this page and notify users of material changes.
